This is for one of my followers, Rubychu. Check her out in the comments. This is her fan-made Cry character, Shy. Hey girl, sorry for shooting your idea down in the first place. This is gonna be great practice for me to get back into writing fanfiction.

Also, this is the reference I'm using for what she looks like:

So, enjoy C:

The girl was a generally calm girl, never really getting frightened at much and didn't have much to say. She had an interesting sense of humor, and an adorable laugh that made anyone who heard it melt. However, her name was of a curious nature because it did not fit her personality very well. Her name was Shy.
Shy sat next to a windowsill, staring out at the gentle drone of rain pounding down onto the earth. The pitter-patter of the raindrops thrumming at the windowsill calmed her. Next to her sat her best friend, Cry, who was doodling away in his notebook. Her best friend, and the object of her affection.
She had been fond of him for quite some time now, although she'd never admit it to anyone, and had been trying her best not to say, or do, anything that would even remotely suggest her feelings. Recently, Shy had been her name, remaining quiet and keeping her sentences short. However, it was foolish to think her best friend wouldn't notice.

Cry wasn't an idiot. He could tell something was going on with his best friend, although he didn't know what. It worried him. It wasn't like Shy to be so reserved with her words. He didn't say anything at the time, but he was actually studying her, trying to figure out what was wrong. In fact, all he had drawn on his paper was the circular head of the Sup guy, and he hadn't even filled in any of the features.
He sighed softly, glad for once that his face was hidden behind a mask. He was able to study her and she would not know it. And for that he did. His eyes trailed along the gentle planes of her face, the smooth curve of her nose, the quiet sweep of her cheeks, down to her pink lips. Oh, those lips. How he wished that he could kiss them. Just once, and he'd be the happiest man alive.
But, no, she was his best friend. He must never do that to her. He would never put her in the awkward situation of having to tell him, "Oh...I didn't realize you felt that way. Sorry, but I just want to be friends." He'd rather those words stay unspoken.

"Cry, I'm going outside," Shy said at once, gathering herself up and walking towards the door.
"I'll come with you," Cry offered, standing up and setting down his drawing pad. Shy's eyes glanced over at it, and she shook her head gently.
"He's missing some eyes," She said quietly as she opened the door. Cry immediately followed her, and they both sat down on the sheltered bench of the porch.

The two sat out there for quite some time, talking rather quietly about various topics. It was around seven at night when it started to get dark.
"It's getting dark, do you want to go inside?" Cry asked Shy.
"No, I'm alright." Shy said. A cold gust blew by then, and she shivered, moving closer to Cry. Out of almost instinct, the boy wrapped his arm around the girl, pulling her closer.
Shy's eyes widened, and a blush crept onto her pretty features. Cry was just as surprised at his own actions as she was. Shy said nothing, but cuddled up closer to the boy she was so fond of, and Cry responded by pulling on her tighter.
"It's....a cold night." Cry said, not really knowing what to say here.
"Yeah...." Shy was kind of embarrassed by how cliche she was sounding. She really hoped Cry couldn't hear or feel the pounding of her heart.

Cry wasn't sure how long they had been sitting there when he, again, acted on impulse. He pulled away from Shy, who made a small  noise of displeasure, only to wrap his arm around her midsection and pull her closer. He tilted her head up with his other hand, and gently pushed his lips against hers. She immediately returned, and their lips parted just slightly as more passion filled the kiss. After a moment, they pulled away. Both people were blushing rather crazily.

"Wow..." Shy breathed softly. Cry just smiled and kissed her hair, before taking her hand and leading her inside.

:iconrubychu: I really hope you like this, this is dedicated to you C:

I wanted to write this while I felt like it, so I'm sorry if I got her personality wrong in any way shape or form.
